God is crying out to the heedless
He’s making His plans known
of a future judgment of sin
where evil has been sown
____
for lives have been truly wasted
by holding onto sin
loving darkness more than the light
and pleasures to take in
____
whereby the people don’t see the need
to fear God or His wrath
because judgment has not yet come
upon their crooked path
____
but Jesus is wanting mankind
to know the truth from lies
and how to become born again
a pathway for the wise
____
for justice must come on a day
to judge the world of sin
that God may dwell among His own
where love shall finally win
____
the heedless still has His mercy
the days are closing fast
when there will be no more mercy
nor escape from their past
____
make known the call of the Savior
cry out the truth in love
perhaps some more shall be redeemed
and find the Lord above
